Beaches

Located between the waters of the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean, Los Cabos is an iconic tourist destination in Mexico, renowned for its sunny climate, natural beauty, and commitment to sustainability. With 28 beaches certified by Blue Flag, this semi-desert paradise leads in Latin America as an example of responsible tourism. The Blue Flag certification ensures compliance with high standards in environmental quality, safety, services, and infrastructure, positioning Los Cabos as a global benchmark, surpassing countries like Canada and Spain.

With 192 kilometers of coastline, Los Cabos offers beaches for every taste, from Migriño on the Pacific Ocean to Buena Vista on the Sea of Cortez. Here, visitors can enjoy activities such as snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, surfing, and jet skiing, as well as unique experiences like releasing baby sea turtles (from July to December) and observing humpback whales (from December to April). The region is also a sanctuary for birds, such as the Least Tern, protected under the Mexican Official Standard NOM-059, with conservation initiatives led by the community and local hotels.

For diving enthusiasts, the reefs of Cabo Pulmo offer spectacular underwater landscapes teeming with biodiversity, known as the “Aquarium of the World,” a name given by Jacques Cousteau.
